DirectAsia.com Voted Loved Online Insurance Brand!

Online insurer DirectAsia.com has been voted one of the Loved Brands in RoadShow Loved Brands Awards 2012. The online car and travel insurance company beat off stiff competition to receive the title of ‘Loved Online Insurance Brand.’

Organised by the Media company, RoadShow, it is a major event in the Hong Kong calendar. It attracts top industry insiders who form part of the voting committee and includes heavyweights such as the HK Association for Customer Service and the HK Quality Management Association. Members of the public are also asked to vote. DirectAsia.com Hong Kong CEO, Nicolas Faquet said he is thrilled with the award coming from top industry officials as well as customers. He said: “This recognition comes as great encouragement to the team to keep challenging the insurance industry standards and set new benchmarks in terms of services and products. All this while ensuring great value for money for all our customers!”

The judging committee was asked to look at various aspects of the company from brand management to corporate social responsibility and interaction with clients. This is the second time that DirectAsia.com has won an award as an online insurer in Hong Kong.

In a separate competition DirectAsia.com scooped an award for Hong Kong’s favourite online insurance service in the Lifestyle iAwards. They beat off competition from Kwiksure and Ping An Insurance.

It was organised by Hong Kong’s two leading online forums, Discuss.com.hk and Uwants.com in partnership with ad network Pixel Media.

Nicolas Faquet added: “To be voted not just once but twice as the best online insurer in a matter of months just makes us want to work harder to keep the awards coming!"
